The brief was seven films. The instinct was eight.
Conscient Infrastructure asked for seven films for Elevate, its residences in Sector 59, Gurugram, designed by the architect Ricardo Bofill. Each one shows a single part of life in the building: the social centre, the culinary studio, the active centre, the sample apartment, a dinner date in the library, the interiors, and the building from the air at night.
While shooting those seven, we kept the b-roll for ourselves. It became the eighth film, the one we actually wanted to make: a master cut where Elevate finally breathes as one piece.
